Scales a Georgian gaming startup into a 50M-user global platform by building behavioral-analytics infrastructure before any marketing spend, proven by SPRIBE's expansion into more than 60 countries in about six years without giving up centralized platform control.
When SPRIBE launched Aviator in 2019, the first thing David Natroshvili built was not a user-acquisition machine but the behavioral-analytics infrastructure to measure one. The order of those two line items is the whole operating theory of the company.1
Natroshvili is the founder and chief executive of SPRIBE, a Georgian business-to-business gaming studio best known for that crash game. Under his leadership the company grew from a Tbilisi startup into a platform with roughly fifty million monthly active users across more than sixty countries in about six years, and it now also operates out of Warsaw and the Isle of Man.
That ordering is his stated operating philosophy: data infrastructure as the precondition for growth rather than a byproduct of it. He credits SPRIBE's success in markets like India to letting data guide localization instead of transplanting a European playbook.1 He describes the company's structure as strategic centralization with operational localization, meaning the core platform stays centrally controlled while regional execution is decentralized within guardrails. He treats provably fair cryptographic verification as a competitive advantage specifically because it builds trust in markets that otherwise have little reason to extend it.2
He is also explicit about the mistakes he sees gaming platforms make when they try to scale globally: assuming infrastructure that works in one market will carry over to the next, localizing through translation alone rather than genuine behavioral adaptation, keeping the organization centralized past the point where that structure can support multiple regions, letting technical debt accumulate unaddressed, and relying on a single partnership strategy across markets that do not resemble each other.3
